The Seattle Bike Train is a weekly, volunteer-led, bike commute group, with rides originating from three different Seattle neighborhoods and traveling to downtown. It’s an easy way for riders of all levels to hit the streets and feel safe commuting by bike.

Announcing our newest Executive Director, Kevin Futhey. Kevin takes the helm of an organization poised to help businesses navigate an increasingly changing transportation environment within downtown Seattle. Kevin shares his plans for Commute Seattle.

The results are in and Seattle employers really moved the needle during the three-week viaduct closure. Ten employers joined our Move the Needle Challenge in January pledging to educate and encourage employees to make smart commute choices.

The three-week closure of the Alaskan Way Viaduct has come and gone and we are looking back at what employers did to make your commutes even better. The tunnel may be open, but Seattle will continue to experience heavy traffic volumes for months to come.
