The Seattle Streetcar (South Lake Union line) connects South Lake Union, the new Waterfront Park, Denny Triangle, and downtown. The streetcar runs on a 1.3-mile (each way) route and makes 11 stops, with a travel time of 10 minutes from Westlake to South Lake Union.
In addition, the historic Seattle Waterfront Street Car line is back and running along Seattle’s waterfront.
Built for the 1962 Seattle World’s Fair, the Seattle Center Monorail shuttled visitors to and from the fair in futuristic style. It’s still a fun and easy way to commute between Seattle Center and downtown.
