Lane closures in Battery Street Tunnel for drainage maintenance

Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) crews will clean street drains in Battery Street above the Battery Street Tunnel over four weekends in June and July. The work requires closing the left-hand lane in both the northbound and southbound directions of the tunnel on the days listed below. Additionally, one lane will be closed on Battery Street, the one-way street that runs above the tunnel.

Battery Street drain cleaning is scheduled to occur from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the following days:

Saturday, June 21 (due to the Race for the Cure event, thetunnel lanes will be closed only from noon to 7 p.m., while Battery Street will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
